Prophesy in Love
I haven’t been posting any Blogs lately since I am posting audio teachings. Look for them under the Audio Teachings tab. However, today I felt led to do a little teaching Prophet to Prophet.
Prophecy is not just about foretelling but about forth-telling—calling forth the things that are not as though they were. ~ Ryan LaStrange
Yes! As prophets, we call into the now the things of the future and call people into their destinies. We don’t speak about the past because the past is in the past. The future is now. You know all about your past. The devil knows all about your past. Yeshua knows your future and He has given you a future and a hope!
Any mention of the past must be as a springboard to a person’s future.
Here are some examples.
The Lord says that although you may have done things in the past, He has an awesome plan and future for you. All you have to do is repent and He is faithful. He will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. He has anointed you to set people free.
Although you have failed in the past, the Lord is anointing you with the ability to succeed in business. Because you have been faithful to tithe, he will cause you to succeed, and you will bless many through your business endeavors and be able to sow into the Kingdom even more than you already have.
Although man has hurt you, He will heal those hurts if you let Him, and set you on a road of blessing and success. He will use you to help others overcome as well.
No one likes to be reminded of their failures or how people hurt them. Everyone likes to be encouraged and lifted up, so if you feel led to mention them let it be in passing as a way to encourage them and call them into Kingdom blessings. If you are a prophet and the Lord is giving you a word of correction it is usually for a nation or a group. Individual words of correction should be spoken by trusted people in a person’s sphere of influence. The Lord will rarely have you call out an individual in public or even a stranger in private.
Remember, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Prophesy in love dear ones. Shalom!
